The Trombone Choir at Pomona College is now in its eighth
year. The choir has grown to about 15 members comprised of
students and faculty from the Claremont Colleges and the
surrounding colleges and community. The repertoire consists
of vocal and instrumental works from the 16th through the
20th centuries that have been adapted to be played by
trombones, as well as works that have been written
specifically for trombone choir. The ensemble is directed by
Ronald Glass.
The Trombone Choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 8:00PM,
usually in Bridges Hall of Music.
Students of the Claremont College can receive credit by
enrolling in Music 40 Chamber Music. |
